Dabbawal High Bridge is our pioneering restaurant, perfectly positioned just off Grey Street in Newcastle city centre, nestled among the ancient cobbles of High Bridge.

We discovered this location back in 2008 while searching for a place to call home. True to the metropolitan roots of Mumbai’s iconic dabbawalas, we opened our first restaurant in the heart of Newcastle, bringing the vibrant energy of Indian street food to one of the city’s most historic lanes.

Our High Bridge restaurant combines authentic Indian street food with retro interiors inspired by traditional Mumbai chic. Warm lighting, vintage details and intimate spaces create a cosy cocoon in the middle of the city, ideal for relaxed dining in Newcastle.
